"The artesian König-Heinrich-Sprudel is located in the Kurpark, on the square in front of the graduation tower. It was drilled for the first time in 1928, but had to be drilled again in 1974 and 1984 because falling rocks had closed the borehole. In 1936 it was initially named after Mayor Gerhard Radke Sprudel renamed to König-Heinrich-Sprudel on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of the death of King Heinrich I.
