Vipiteno is the northernmost city in Italy and lies at an altitude of 948 meters. The impressive town houses, the town hall and the medieval squares amidst the picturesque mountain landscape attract numerous visitors every year. Built in the 15th century, the 46-meter high Twelfth Tower (Torre delle dodoci) is the landmark of the city. Around the tower you will find numerous shops, cafes and cozy taverns. Just right to let the Italian flair affect you.

Who e.g. in Vipiteno finished a tour to start from there by train home, should definitely take the time and look briefly into the beautiful old town - possibly on a coffee or a cyclist :)
