The middle lake lies, as its name suggests, between the lower and upper lakes. The three of them form a string of lakes called the Bastan lakes. Of glacial origin, this natural body of water is now home to a few species of fish (including trout) and makes up the landscape with beautiful islets of century-old pines all around.

For me, one of the most beautiful dream landscapes in the Pyrenees with countless lakes in a green and rocky landscape. And the lakes are really warm despite the altitude, so definitely swim.
