Nice town, unfortunately badly damaged towards the end of the Second World War.

The city of Allersberg is a market in the Middle Franconian district of Roth.

Allersberg was first mentioned in 1254 as Alrsperch as the center of a parish. It is based on the Bavarian personal name Alaher.[7]

In 1323 it received market rights from Ludwig the Bavarian, which was extended in 1354 by Emperor Charles IV. The Wolfstein family lived in Allersberg until 1475, and they also founded the first hospital there in 1339. After that, the Bishopric of Eichstätt enfeoffed Duke Ludwig the Rich with Allersberg, which led to Bavaria-Landshut.

Before 1800, Allersberg was a caretaker and belonged to the Wittelsbach Duchy of Neuburg-Sulzbach, which came to Bavaria in 1777. Allersberg owned the market right with magistrate's own rights. From 1689 to 2006, the place was the seat of the Jacob Gilardi company, the oldest manufacturer of Leonian goods in Germany.

Towards the end of the Second World War, Allersberg was severely damaged in April 1945 in fighting against the advancing 7th US Army
