The Nevada capitol complex in the heart of Carson City provides a picturesque campus setting which includes the State Capitol, Legislative Building, Supreme Court, and State Library and Archives. Long a dusty pit in the growing frontier town until the end of the 19th century, it became landscaped with native plant species and buildings of impressive architectural detail. This loop hops from the gaudy casino and entertainment establishments across the street into this lush and shaded park-like ensemble.
