Evangelical Lutheran Church in Edewecht in the Ammerland district in Lower Saxony
    St. Nikolai Church in Edewecht

The church was built in the late 13th century. The choir bay in the east was added to the rectangular one-room church in the first half of the 15th century. In the 16th century it was extended to the west by a half yoke. Its dimensions are 24.9 m by 7.1 m. The wooden bell tower burned down in April 1945 during World War II. It was renewed in 1950 based on the old model.

The evangelical St. Nikolai church dates from the 15th century and is very impressive with its wall painting, altar, pulpit and organ. As an open church, a visit is almost always possible. The separate wooden bell tower was renewed after the fire in World War II according to the old model.
