The Piz Boè (German: Boespitze) is with 3152 meters the highest mountain and the only three thousand meter Sella group in the Dolomites.
It is considered to be the "lightest three-thousand meter peak" of the Dolomites and can be reached from the mountain station of the cable car to the summit of Sass Pordoi in just over an hour, with some more difficult passages secured with wire ropes.
Since 1969, Rifugio Capanna Piz Fassa, a small summer refuge with limited accommodation, is located on the summit. The service is small and fine, but you get full! We recommend.

The Piz Boe can be reached in several ways. We recommend it over the Valon via ferrata.
The via ferrata itself is only a little demanding at a short point, otherwise easy to walk. The ascent to Piz Boe then becomes more strenuous as there is almost only loose gravel.
The view from the summit is fantastic.
