Otter Cliffs draw many visitors to gaze and photograph their dramatic meeting with the ocean. More adventurous visitors have made this location one of the most popular rock climbing spots in Maine, if not the entire Northeast. Also, for movie buffs, you may recognize these cliffs from the Scorsese & DiCaprio film Shutter Island.
