Even as a student, we have been here more often - super castle

The hike from the Nature House to the Hermitage to Hardegg, over the bridge a round in the CZ, then on the summit cross in Hardegg, we have often gone in the spring, autumn and winter. Was always an experience and if you take some time to see the castle is the trip very worthwhile. The Waldviertler pastries in the inn in Hardegg, or nature conservation house are worth the trip and round off the hike.

Extensive hiking trails with pure nature

Hardegg Castle, one of the largest defensive fortresses in Lower Austria, rises on a rock above Austria's smallest town. Unfortunately, the castle is closed, but there is a lot to see from the outside as well, I definitely recommend a visit.
