Rossmarkt Fountain (Horse Fountain) Alzey

In contrast to the nearby Roßmarkt, the fish market is inconspicuous and unspectacular.
In the middle there is a nymph fountain. What is interesting is that this has always been the fountain for the city's beer brewers. The purest water is said to have been available here.

From Rossmarkt you can walk or drive to Alzeyer Castle in a few minutes. The beautiful, partly preserved and partially renovated complex is always the venue for attractive events and also worth a look.
