Trail in the Grèves de la Corbière and Chevroux Nature Reserve

The path between Estavailler and Chevroux is easy to ride with a normal touring bike and there is no driving ban. It is a very beautiful path through the forests of the nature reserve along Lake Neuchâtel.

What a blessing to complete this section on foot or by bike. If you love wild and romantic excursions, don't find the chirping of birds disturbing, climb a lookout tower to get a better view of the great area (almost all of it is a nature reserve), you won't be disappointed, quite the opposite. The caves on the way, the diverse flora and the largely natural path meanders through the varied landscape. It should be noted, however, that some sections are almost impassable/driveable after rainfall, as the groundwater in many places is at the same level as the path, which leads to heavy flooding, puddles and sometimes deep channels. Sections with roots also pepper the path in several places, only to shortly afterwards turn into the best gravel paths again. Not demanding in terms of driving, but all the more varied!
