Also called "il Fresco", it is a Venetian villa located in Asolo, in the province of Treviso. It rises in Sant'Anna, a pleasant hill town west of the historic center. The nickname derives from the position near Monte Messano and from the north orientation. The building was built in the 18th century as an annex to the most impressive Villa Contarini, whose historical events will follow. In 1895 the entire complex passed to various noble families thanks to a donation from Abbot Gurekian to the Armenian Mechitarists of Venice. More recently it has been sold to private individuals. The Villa degli Armeni is in a dominant and isolated position, with a facade framed by two secular cypresses. It is one of the most famous views of Asolo. The building is small and compact. It develops on three levels and shows the classic symmetrical and tripartite organization, with the central band accented by a pediment connected to the roof by two volutes.

Like a true eagle's nest at an altitude of 1,800 m, Chamois is included in the 'Pearls of the Alps', a prize awarded to the most virtuous mountain communities for environmental sustainability and soft mobility. It is a place out of time where cars cannot drive: a quiet place suitable for families, couples and anyone willing to live according to the rhythm of an authentic environment.
Chamois can only be reached on foot or by comfortable cable car. And the lucky ones can even attempt a landing at the small airfield in the mountains.
WHAT TO SEE
● The city center, the hamlet of Corgnolaz, is a car-free area with wooden and stone buildings and small streets.
● Saint Pantaléon Parish Church: originally built in 1681, it was enlarged and transformed in 1838, adopting the current structure, with the bell tower facing east and the presbytery with an octagonal dome and vault facing west.Triggered?
