The location is simply brilliant, a wonderful place for this chapel.
I would also like to take part in a service here.

Pastor Willibald Strohmeyer was arrested on April 22, 1945 in the vicarage of SS members for no apparent reason and taken away with unknown destination. Since there was an SS group in the district Münsterhalde, there was the assumption that Strohmeyer was taken in the local direction. This assumption came true a little later, because he was murdered on the day of his abduction by the SS on the Heubronner corner by neck shots.
The death shots were a French legionnaire on the orders of German SS group leaders. His body was dragged a few meters further and then scantily buried in a pit and covered with brushwood. The situation of the last days of the war made the search for Willibald Strohmeyer extremely difficult. Therefore, he was discovered only 14 days later, on May 6, 1945, after several days and dangerous searches of two or three Münstertälern and buried on 9 May 1945 in the cemetery St. Trudpert. Impressive memorial against SS terror in Münstertal.
