Tips
Aduarderzijl is one of the most beautiful and most photographed places in the province of Groningen. If you cycle between Garnwerd and Ezinge, this route is much quieter than the road via Feerwerd and in terms of distance it is negligible. Especially at sunset, when the sun sets along the old lock keeper's house, you can take beautiful pictures here. At the bridge there is an information board with the history of the lock.
