The mission house, visible from afar, is a building complex of the Steyler missionaries, which was built in 1899 when the friars around Arnold Janssen settled here. It grew into an important training center and later developed into a retirement home for returning missionaries. The large mission house church was built in 1910. The nearby Wendelinushof served the order with gardening and agriculture for a long time as an economic basis. Today the order runs a theological bookstore and a museum with souvenirs from missionaries from all over the world. Source: Text information board
