Former crusher Baruth, now a technical monument
Both the original building and the machine park with elevator, belt conveyors, crushers, screening machines from Krupp and suction fans from MIAG as well as the tool forge have been preserved from the original period. They are in good technical condition and could still process basalt from the nearby quarry today.
Rock was broken here for the last time in December 1993.
Viewing is possible after prior appointment by telephone at (03 59 32) 3 11 12.
