Thanks to the impressive brickwork, the many columns, and the large skylight, there's a very special industrial charm inside. On the Halmtorvet once the cattle, whose last Stuendlein had beaten, waited. Today, here is the center of a new scene. Here meet artists and creative people. The Øksnehallen as a part of Halmtorvet were built in the 1920s as livestock auction halls. Since 1997, they serve as an exhibition center for design, fashion and modern art.
