The master baker Gottfried Lummer, a citizen of Untermhaus, applied for permission from Heinrich XXV Reuß j.L. in March 1742. to buy the house at the bridge with number 54 "where the bailiff has his apartment". On June 16, the request was approved with certain conditions: Lummer had to demolish the outbuildings next to the church and house the bakery in the eastern half of the building.
