Gorgeous beach, with really clear water at the far end.

Do not swim here, due to strong currents & rip-tides!

It's worth taking a walk higher up. A short path through some open grassland has some really beautiful flowers - and resident rabbits I was lucky enough to see!!

It's best to return the same way... Otherwise, the main access road is the only option (not without danger!)

By the way, we didn't find any pubs in town. There is a hotel and an ice cream van was there 🤔

As Holly says: you can go for a walk.

But unfortunately, there are no "hiking trails for all fitness levels" unless you always walk along the main road. Nice and pleasant for a day trip, but definitely not for a nice hike.

Inchdoney Island is an expansive beach famous for its calm waters and unique scenery. Here you can see a variety of birds and wildlife while breathing in the fresh sea air.

Inchdoney Island's hiking trails are ideal for all fitness levels, from easy walks to challenging hikes. On the trails one can enjoy nature and the surrounding landscape, including breathtaking views of the sea and the nearby mountains.

There are also many local bars and restaurants on the island where one can enjoy a pint of Guinness and delicious Irish cuisine. A popular activity on the island is surfing - there is also an on-site surf school where you can learn the art of surfing.
