Beautifully restored area with some viewpoints - view of the gravel pits as well as the Taunus and across the Main plain to Frankfurt. Most spectacular from a lofty height from the observation tower at the entrance. The paths are designed for relaxed circular hikes, from which you can then relax in the restaurant to the wild donkey ... 😉
Very nice!

There are a total of 5 of these observation towers in the nature reserve.
From the towers you have a good view of the recultivated gravel pits. This should provide an insight between industrial use and recultivation up to the creation of new biotopes. Rare animals can also be observed. If you are lucky, you may also see a small herd of wild donkeys.

Perfect for a walk. Some information boards about the nature reserve. There is also a nature conservation house with nature/conservation themed events. There are active events especially for children.
