The rosarium between Hattersheim and Okriftel was built on the Regional Parkweg in 1997. It is reminiscent of rose cultivation in Hattersheim in the last century, from where cut roses were sent all over the world. The beds and the tunnel-shaped trellis arches are arranged around a water basin with reeds, water lilies and fish as well as two mighty climbing pyramids with dark red blooming roses.
In the 1.3 hectare rosarium there are enough seating options to invite you to linger. Just the thing for a breather during a bike ride.
