The Devil's Cave is actually not a cave but a hand dug quarry in the slope of the Mount of Poppel. The cave has been here since the 17th century. At dusk its entrance looks a bit like a creepy skull, hence its name. The quarry itself consists of a single corridor that ends in about 25 meters. The 'left eye' of the skull is accessible in two ways. From the outside by climbing down the path that starts on top of the cave. From the inside through a hand carved narrow gap.
