The 18 m tall tree is probably 600 years old and has several legends attached to it. The most famous is Jiroušek, who during the period of oppression of non-Catholic churches at the end of the 18th century. he transcribed the New Testament in the hollow of a tree and sang the text to himself as he wrote. People who walked around the tree did not see anyone and that is how this rumor was born.
