Gut Güldenstein is located in the municipality of Harmsdorf in eastern Schleswig-Holstein. It is still owned by the House of Oldenburg, one of the remaining ducal lines of Schleswig-Holstein. The castle-like manor house of the property is considered one of the main works of baroque manor architecture in Holstein.

The estate is still privately owned by the ducal family and is managed to this day. Riding tournaments are held on the estate grounds every year. The mansion is inhabited and not open to the public.
