The Bietzestrasse leads us in the west axis along the bird sanctuary "Polder Holter Hammrich" and "Polder Leyßer Hammrich", where we see a multitude of different birds breeding, resting or playing poker or whatever the birds do over vast expanses of water , can watch. High quality binoculars, telephoto lenses and monopods increase the experience immensely. Various display boards explain the area, flora and fauna.
