Bike Touring Highlight
The Tillyschanze is a 25 meter high observation tower on the hill of the wooded Rabanenkopf in the Reinhardswald. It offers a great view of the old town of Hann. Munden. The name of the Tillyschanze is reminiscent of the siege and subsequent capture of Münden by Tilly in 1626. On top of the tower visitors enjoy a wonderful view of the old town, the old city walls and the rivers. The tower rooms were turned into a small museum.
Distance to the bike path: about 700 m
