The Hotel Stadt Melk is a very nice 3 star hotel which, thanks to its central location, is an excellent starting point for all kinds of excursions. The shipping piers of the DDSG and Brandtner Schifffahrt are a 10-minute walk away, the train station can be reached in 6 to 7 minutes on foot, and it takes less than 1 minute to get to the next bus stop. Since the hotel is located in the city center, where most of the bars can of course also be found, you have a good selection of places to stop off almost on your doorstep.
