Crossing the dam always gives beautiful views on all sides. Both by bike and on foot, you have to be careful on the wide bicycle / pedestrian crossing, which is passable in both directions, because e-bikes can overtake quickly! Accidents are not uncommon! The wooden footbridge from Rapperswil to Hurden is recommended on foot.
