The government district is located to the east of the old town, directly on the Traisen. It stretches between the river in the east, Wiener Strasse (with the Wienerbrücke), Rennbahnstrasse, Siegfried-Ludwig-Platz and Niederösterreich-Ring (with the Julius-Raab Bridge). There is another bridge over the Traisen, the Landhaussteg.

Hiking

Visited our state capital with its government district again today. Disappointing that there isn't a single restaurant here that is open on Sundays. We wandered around the district without coffee and cake, we also visited the Klangturm and enjoyed the view of St. Pölten from up here. We had to go to the city center for coffee, but it was mellow and nice there at Café Schubert.
