The Schloss Blankensee, also called Sudermannhaus, is a manor house. It was built between 1701 and 1740 in the style of the Mark Baroque, supposedly on the foundations of an old castle, for a Saxon district captain (Christian von Thümen). It is located in the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park near Trebbin, about 20 km south of Potsdam. (Source: reiseland-brandenburg.de)
