The dune forests that run from Vosseslag to Wenduine, interrupted by the picturesque De Haan, are among the most beautiful and unique pieces of nature on the Belgian coast. You walk along pleasant, undulating footpaths through soothing dune forests and more open dune landscape. A unique biotope where exceptional fauna and flora thrive (including goat orchid, dune star and coastal grasshopper). Along the way there are various play areas (such as the long slide on the Slierberg) and places to relax or have a picnic.

De Duinbossen De Haan is one of the green pearls on the coast. The area consists of three parts and covers 152 hectares. You will find both open dune landscape with the typical fauna and flora of the coast, as well as extensive wooded dunes. You can romp to your heart's content in one of the 3 play zones and there are beautiful and surprising walking paths.

Nice to walk gently in the shade through the woods from De Haan to Wenduine or vice versa. Good trails - no walking shoes required. Separate MTB and bridleways.
