Grafenegg Castle is located in Lower Austria near Haitzendorf (municipality of Grafenegg) and around 14 km east of Krems. Along with Kreuzenstein Castle and Anif Castle near Salzburg, it is one of the most important castle buildings of romantic historicism in Austria.
