The section from the Niehler Hafen to the Mülheim Bridge is certainly one of the most beautiful on the Cologne bank of the Rhine. Here you can walk through nature in peace and quiet, almost isolated from the city, and take a break on one of the tree benches. The beer garden in the old swimming pool, surrounded by fragrant trumpet plants (koeln-biergarten.de/portrait.php), provides fresh cooling.
