After almost 2 years of forced break, the mill friends want to start the season again with a full program on April 24th. Many exhibitors, as well as the helpers, are already looking forward to the family-like small market event again. At the beginning of a season there is a lot to do, the winter dust has to go and the unwanted moisture deposits have to be removed, which is why the millers are already working hard in and on the mill, the wings are being checked and the sails are being raised. The service prepares everything thoroughly in the house and the bakers get flour and ingredients and will slowly heat the old oven again in good time at least 4 days before the start. All in all, a thorough house cleaning is being carried out both inside and outside.A few old friends will be there again as exhibitors and hobby craftsmen, because the jam and honey supplies have certainly shrunk considerably. Susanne Fleer-Scok and Reinhold Hellmann can help with that. What about knives and scissors? These will also probably need a new sharpening, which Dieter Krawert will get for them.Klaus Wüllner is offering many nice wooden eye-catchers and last but not least, Friedhelm Tewes will demonstrate the art of basket weaving, which can also be purchased from his daughter next door, along with other nice little things.

Nice well maintained windmill. In summer, the meal and backstage areas take place here. Craftsmen demonstrate their craft. Flour is ground and fresh bread and cakes are baked. Everything can then be consumed on site with good coffee.
