Very good views of the opposite bank but sturdy shoes are recommended.

The name "Wurzelweg" fits this section of the path, like a fist to the eye, good footwear is recommended.

A great piece of path that fits well into a tour of the Weißensee as the highlight of the tour.
Oh yes, the signs with the inscription unsuitable for cyclists and strollers are to be taken completely seriously because the path on the bank is just too narrow for both.

Interesting way, by no means try with stroller or bike.

This side of the lake is more difficult to walk, but more interesting due to the many roots on the way, rock gate and the view of the other side of the lake.

If necessary, iced in winter and then difficult to walk

"Bleeding" pond: Rare natural spectacle near Füssen,
Bacteria that flourish in the sulphurous water have colored a pond near Füssen in an unusual way. According to experts, this does not change the water quality. The phenomenon is known from a lake nearby.

Without this footbridge it would be a lot more difficult to walk around

A beautifully laid out path that leads around the lake. Sturdy shoes are recommended for the off-road section

    The Hugo Ludwig Bridge
Up until 1952, it was not possible to bypass the Weißensee without a difficult ascent and descent at this point. The rocky outcrop and the immediately steeply sloping lake shore prevented this.
It was only after the generous donation for the entire iron structure from Hugo Städtgen and Ludwig Prem, long-standing, loyal guests of our town, who had learned to appreciate the Weißensee and its recreational value, that the Weißensee tourist office was able to complete the walk across this footbridge.
    It was hard work:
In the winter of 1952, machines and material could be transported across the ice cover of the lake so that work could begin. It was drilled, chiselled, welded and screwed from the ice, and in the spring of 1953 the prefabricated structure was concreted and completed.
The naming is intended to remember the sponsors of this small but important building for all time.
Beautiful jetty that allows an ideal lake-near circumnavigation! 🤩👍

This southern part of the lake is actually quite a walk. Exciting for children, because never boring
