On the Abgschütz route in the direction of Chringengrätli there are 2 chain-secured passages, each approx. 15m long. The first passage goes quite vertically through a kind of gully. The second passage zigzags somewhat through boulders. Both passages should be easily manageable for sure-footed people. Even after a few dry days, it can still be a bit damp and slightly slippery because the path is on the shady side. The passages can also be completed 'on the backside' (this helps me personally). You don't have a view of a deep emptiness and further down there is a plateau. If you are not particularly afraid of heights, you should be able to manage this section. It helped me and my husband a lot on the descent that we took a close look at the path from below on another hike on the Älggli/Chringengrätli side. We knew that from above it looked worse than it actually was.

The place is secured with steps and chains, but it is very steep. Certainly not recommended in wet conditions!
