Tips

  • Söhni 🏃

The Trimeusel is a naturally exposed, almost vertical rock over the Mainhang. It is the most complete and beautiful lias rock in Franconia. The Trimeusel can be reached via a branch path on the edge of the forest on the banks of the Main. There is a narrow path between the steep slope and the Main 50-100 m downstream, until you can see the thin oil shale with the limestone banks on the right. Since the wall is protected, mining is prohibited here.
