This abandoned house in a typical style that we once found modern is fascinating for those who are interested in it, but if you come here for nature as many do: in spring the lawn around it is full of various spring bloomers that you also see elsewhere in the area, but here there are just a lot together - and many species. The pond is still there.

The name of the house is "Angulus Ridet", which comes from a Latin text by Horace: "Ille terrarum mihi praeter omnes angulus ridet". Translated, this means: "Yonder spot smiles at me above all others on earth."
