The Gleislinse Johannisthal (formerly Schöneweide) is a kind of park on the site of the former Schöneweide marshalling yard. It now belongs to the district of Johannisthal and runs parallel to the railway line between S Johannisthal (previously: Schöneweide depot) and Adlershof. Permanent habitats for sand lizards have also been created here. At the height of the S-Bahn station Johannisthal (previously: Schöneweide depot) two ringed roundabouts with track remnants were created.

Hiking

Until 1998, the Schöneweide operating and marshalling yard was here. Now a green area called the "Gleislinse Landscape Park" is being built here. The area is called "Gleislinse" because the tracks leading into and out of the city were lens-shaped.

A lot of the design is reminiscent of the former location (railway sleepers, etc.)
