On the right bank (opposite the mill) there is a shady resting place between the little-traveled road and an imposing rock. There you will also find yourself in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park. The Ilz is the limit of the park here.

Hiking
The tailor's mill on the Ilz is still used today as a sawmill. From the bridge you have a great view of the natural river bed, where trout and other fish cavort.
