Along the route of the Via Appia, numerous pitches equipped for parking vehicles and wayfarers have been recognized. This, about 50m x 52m wide, is the best preserved, located just downstream from the Fortino di Sant'Andra.
The pitch was used to create a break from traffic in case of overcrowding of the nearby Temple of Apollo or from worship ceremonies

Mountain biking
