The Domaine de Cheverny is made up of its Château and its gardens of course, but also of its link with Tintin, indeed the Château served as a model for Hergé to draw Moulinsart!

Cheverny Castle is a French Loire castle located in Sologne, in the commune of Cheverny, in the department of Loir-et-Cher and the Centre-Val de Loire region. It is one of the busiest castles of the Loire with those of Blois and Chambord, very close[ref. necessary].
Listed as a historic monument, this castle was built in the 17th century, in a very classic style[unclear]. It was designed by Jacques Bougier, architect of part of the Château de Blois, and has remained the residence of the Marquis de Vibraye since the 16th century.
It currently hosts a pack and hound hunts are regularly organized there.
It inspired Hergé to create the Château de Moulinsart, which is a replica, minus its two extreme pavilions.
