Road cycling
Kreisstraße 25 runs through the town.
The small village was first mentioned in a deed of donation dated August 13, 1294, when it was transferred from Herr von Schlitz to the Johanniter branch in Grebenau.
Only a few remains of the castle estate built in the 14th century. The school was built in 1924. In 1939 the village had 171 inhabitants, today there are just over 150 inhabitants. The village community center was built in 1965.
