The Stumpfer Turm (Blunt Tower) in Lenzen (Elbe) is a remnant of the former city fortifications, located in the center of the picturesque old town.The Stumpfer Turm is the last remaining feature of the Bergtor (Berg Gate), which originally had a conical roof and a battlement. While the lower section has an octagonal floor plan, the upper section is circular. Relics of the medieval city wall can still be seen to the north. (Source: amtlenzen.de)
