The Evangelical-Reformed St. Jakobus Church, built around 1200, is located right in the center of Dykhausen. The church, which stands on a steep hill, has had a towering west tower, clad with clinker bricks, with a gable roof that runs across it since 1911. Heinrich Krechting, the former chancellor of the Baptist empire of Münster, was buried in the church.
