Turó de la Magarola or Turó del Maltall de Magarola is a 430 meter hill at the intersection of the municipal terms of Barcelona (Barcelonès) and Cerdanyola del Vallès and Sant Cugat del Vallès (Vallès Occidental), in the Collserola mountain range. At the top there is a geodesic vertex.[2]
Since 1988, the autumn migration of birds of prey has been monitored there in the months of September and October,[3][4] and a wooden platform, equipped with informative panels, has been built at the top to house the participants. The species most seen in this monitoring is the vesper aligot (Pernis aviporus),[5] which is also seen in the majority of stations in Catalonia where similar monitoring is carried out,[6] followed by the kestrel (Falco tinnunculus ) and the arpela (Circus aeruginosus).[5][7]
The long-distance trail GR 92 passes by the same summit, and the GR 6 a few meters away

Nice lookout. Depending on the time of year there are many people watching birds.

Very good views over Barcelona on one side, and Montserrat and La Mola on the other.
