At 533 m, the Juxkopf is the second highest peak in the Löwenstein Mountains. The tower (22 m high) is the third building on this site: the first predecessor was built in 1882. It was demolished in 1902 due to dilapidation and replaced by a new tower. The current tower was built in 1932. Until 2008 he was looked after by the Besigheim branch of the Swabian Alb Association; since then he has been in the care of the Juxkopf local group. It is usually open on Sundays during hiking.

When you are up there, you should take some time to rest. It's nice up here. If you want to continue to Nassacher Straße, you can take the S0, but it is better to go back to Jux and via the Talblickweg to the hiking car park on Nassacher Straße
