belongs to the type of gulf house - which represents the predominant building form in the area of East Frisia - and was built at the current Fehnstelle Kanalstrasse Süd 64 in 1802 as a second company house. The owners at that time were the spouses Heye Janssen Backer and Renske Margarethe Arends. On April 9, 1806, the house was sold to Friedrich Claassen from the Timmel district and remained in the possession of this family until 1982.

In the middle of the fascinating fen landscape - opposite the old mill from 1804 - lies the Historical Company House, which today is a restaurant with an up chamber,
a historical ballroom with a gallery, a shark bar and beer garden
