A little tip: every 2 years at the end of January there is the Rila Rila Lights event for one to two weeks.
You absolutely have to experience it.
At nightfall everything is beautifully and colorfully illuminated. I saw and photographed this in January 2019.
At the end I was completely frozen, but it was worth it. However, there is an entrance fee. But it was worth it.
Whether it will take place in 2021 remains to be seen.
