One of many glider airfields in the Sauerland. With a little luck, you can also do planespotting with small planes. When I was there, a small plane flew a few meters above and started to land, unfortunately I was not quick enough to take a picture of it.

Cycling

This airfield is located near Letmathe, a district of Iserlohn. It is mainly used for gliding. The Rheinermark glider airfield serves as a base for glider pilots to explore the beautiful landscapes of the Sauerland from the air. It offers opportunities for both experienced pilots and beginners to learn or practice gliding. The site usually contains facilities such as runways specifically for gliders, hangars to accommodate the aircraft and often a clubhouse or similar social facilities where members and visitors can meet.
